Today, customized wheels are more popular than ever. People are increasingly choosing to either add new wheels to their car, or add the option from the beginning at the dealership. Of these customization options, chrome wheels are some of the most distinctive and popular. These kinds of wheels are mostly seen on cars, though they are sometimes also seen on trucks, sport utility vehicles and motorcycles.
It’s worth taking some space to distinguish between wheels and rims, as sometimes the difference is confusing. Basically, wheels and rims refer to the same thing; namely, the part of the car onto which the tire is placed. They have the same function, and are located on the same part of the car.
